Isaiah 2:4   THIS ALONE SOLVES MOST WORLD PROBLEMS:  By turning to a garden paradise retirement lifestyle of edible landscapes and useful pets for fresh foods, we will SOON find SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT and TRUE PROSPERITY in a garden paradise that is the solution to:   energy crisis, food crisis, financial crisis, global warming,  famine, drought, poverty pollution of air, land, water, and food,   disease and accidents, child care and education burdens.  Retirement gardens bring freedom and independence, a healthy lifestyle, and global prosperity, a true social security.  God's solutions have no sorrow added.   AN IMMEDIATE CHANGE OF DIRECTION IS NEEDED.  There are only greater problems ahead as "success" in "poorer" nations creates more pollution to air, land, water, and our foods destroying our health and our world.    ADD TO THE CONSEQUENCES OF THE SUCCESSES IN POORER NATION the natural decaying of our "advanced" infrastructures of: tall buildings, bridges, damns,  roadways,   electricity and plumbing  servicing cities,  etc,   and we can ONLY be in  continual strong bondage to taxes and servitude to our own lifestyle with stress and disease from our seditary lifestyles and our lack of fresh foods.  THIS IS NOT SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT.   It would take an increase in the present polluting energy and emissions to create a future clean technology that is not yet known or economically beneficial.  The same polluting cars and systems will continue for many years.  (Most people will not be able to afford new non-polluting cars or systems if they ever could be available.)  We would be increasing transporting of parts and products, contradicting the very purpose of green technology.  We will have polluted ourselves to death by speeding up emissions with manufacturing and transporting green technology instead of reducing them.  We will have increased pollution, and increased and speeded up global warming.  These hopes for the future are an illusion.   THERE IS NEITHER POWER NOR SUCCESS IN THE DIRECTION WE ARE GOING, AND THERE IS NO WISDOM NOR LOVE IN EXPORTING OUR WAYS TO OTHER NATIONS WHO DO NOT YET KNOW THE DOWNSIDE OF OUR "GREAT ADVANCEMENTS". Without God's will that we turn to the retirement garden paradise lifestyle, multitudes would continue the destructive lifestyle destroying themselves and others. so Without God we can do nothing. With God all things are possible. BETTER   ENERGY   POLICY - IMMEDIATE SOLUIONS For less energy usage, lower prices, less pollution and greater freedom from our bondage to oil, there is a better way than government is proposing.          It quickly reduces energy usage  1/7                           It incurs no new costs or investments One same day of no work would accomplish all this. There is a solution that is guaranteed to succeed. Employment is not the goal, retirement is.  We are going the wrong way.  If we turn to a retirement lifestyle of making a garden paradise with edible landscaping and useful pets, of goats, sheep, cattle and chickens we can save our world and bring peace, joy, good health and family unity into our lives.  Foods would not need to be processed, packaged and transported.   We will work on our own property with our family and extended family.  This is a change we can really count on. The multitudes of people that would plant useful vegetation including fruit and nut trees would make a quick work of adding trees and greenery to our environment.   Retirement Garden Paradise Lifestyles solve many world problems:  Global Warming, Energy Crisis, Pollutions, Food Crisis, Wars, Poverty,  Social Security, Health Care, Famine, and Border Disputes. They are a ready resource if disaster strikes.  It is fair and equal for all.  It makes it easy to take in those who have not. Proselytizing: Converting Within Other Religions  Pope Benedict XVI, and the United Nations and other high level religious notables are trying to devise a code of conduct on how to do outreach for conversions from other faiths without offending and causing conflicts among religions and its people.  The pope has recently considered or actually revived a Council on Interreligious Dialogue.  In 2001 before the September 11th destruction of the World Trade Center, the United Nations  began an effort that has resulted in "High-Level Group for the Alliance of Civilizations", a group of 18  notables and specialists in the field of inter-civilizational and intercultural relations". for the purpose of breaking down barriers in religion and bringing unity and or peace.   With the present understandings within religions, there is no way to "convert people to the "truth as you see it" in your "one true way to salvation.""  without offending other cultures and their leaders and peoples.   Let us remember that "the one true way to salvation" is the driving force of why religions do outreach.  They fear that others will be "lost in a dreadful after-life";  and they are not wrong, for that is the word of God.  There shall be gnashing of teeth etc. and great sorrow and torment.   With the strength of that understanding, it is love that drives religions to outreach, and let us not forget that.
