In this time of suspicion, lawlessness, confusion, disillusionment and unrest, we call upon US President, Donald Trump, the UN Secretary General, the UN Security Council and UN General Assembly of world leaders of nations, the EU, NATO, the  Middle East Quartet, non-governmental agencies, businesses and institutions of all kinds to proclaim, not a law, but a statement of intention to adhere to a standard set of “DAYS OF NO WORK” to bring greater stability and unity for the greater good of all mankind.  It will be a foundation for better relationships at home, in the community and for businesses around the world.

Each nation is independent, and no law should be established, but we can agree on a united set of “holidays” of “DAYS OF NO WORK.”   The agreed “written word of God” in multitudes of religions can be used to gain acceptance for these united “days of no work.”  This is not about keeping the religious aspects of the days; it is ONLY to establish an agreed set of “days of no work” to bring greater understanding that unity already exists.   This unity can break down walls between non-religious and religious, walls between religions and walls within religions.

The Torah, Law of Moses, is part of the Bible and a focus of the Qur’an.  The Bhavaghad Gita, Vedas and other oriental holy books say to follow Puranas or the Law; the Bible is a Puranas.  The large majority of the people of the world have an expectation that this is the “word of God” of the “God who is One,” Jehovah, Yahweh, Allah, The God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob, Ahura Mazda or Supreme Godhead etc.” but no unbeliever is required to believe that or follow the religious aspects of the word.   This can be the authority of our “AGREED DAYS OF NO WORK” ONLY.   Exodus 12:49 and Leviticus 24:22 say the law is the same for all.

In the Torah (Law of Moses), Leviticus 23, there are a set of “DAYS OF NO WORK.”  Each year there are seven “days of no work,” plus the weekly 7^th day of no work, making about 59 “days of no work, about two months a year.”  This conforms to the “Ten Commandments” of Exodus 20 and Deuteronomy 5; there should be no written grounds for disagreement.  The command is that Torah appointed national feasts or days of no work are “not to be added to nor diminished from.”  (Deuteronomy 4:2, and 12:32)  All days are sunset to sunset.   Within that chapter, there are two memorial feasts of seven days each, (only two no work days are in each feast week).  These can be the best time to give any week-long vacations, one in the spring and one in the fall.

The SOLE PURPOSE of this individual commitment is to the UNITED DAYS OF NO WORK only, not to any religious aspect.  Religion is a personal decision and not in consideration in this proclamation.
